Tempo Civil: A Prominent Name in Improved Logistics Delivery Speed

Tempo Civil is a well-known logistics company based in North Georgia, USA. They are a revolutionary name in same-day delivery, offering safe and reliable services. Founded by an industry expert, the logistics company wanted to broaden its horizon and serve a larger number of customers. We were tasked with upgrading their existing website and making it easier for the primary users.

Client requirements

The logistics company wanted to improve the overall performance of the existing website to facilitate the customers. Their existing website was much smaller in scale and did not contain all the services that the company provided. Tempo Civil wanted to create a single-page, simple site that contains everything, from a brief history of the company to career opportunities. To achieve these goals, we had to use modern web development techniques.

Project Goals and Objectives

The company wanted us to create a simple website with a seamless experience. Upon understanding their requirements, we used the relevant tech stack (WordPress) to create an advanced CMS platform. We also added a custom inquiry feature to attract interested candidates to work for the team. Our developers organized the content to improve viewers’ understanding.

Problems Faced by the Client
Problems Faced by the Client

The client had an existing website, but it had various issues that hindered smooth usage. The site lacked sufficient information about the company and its functions, which caused confusion among users. The loading speed was also not up to current standards. We used a much more reliable framework to fix these issues.

Technical Issues
Technical Issues

Before development, the website had several technical issues. The site's loading speed was an issue, as was the misplacement of content and other visual elements. Navigation on the site was also problematic, significantly hampering the user journey. To simplify the user experience, we created a single-page site that contained all the vital details and provided a fast, secure way to explore the website.

UI/UX Issues

The user interface of the existing website had some inconsistencies that prevented a smoother user experience. This caused high bounce rates and user dissatisfaction. Upon identifying this problem, we adopted a minimalist approach that improved site load time and prevented security threats and crashes.

Challenges with Market Competition
Challenges with Market Competition

We had a goal to make the site more user-friendly, better suited to modern market needs. The high-end competitors of Tempo Civil had functional websites with clear calls to action and seamless navigation. Along with informing the users about the services, the company wanted to offer job opportunities to interested candidates. As a developer, our challenge was to incorporate both features into the site.

User Research Findings

We first focused on the user demands, which helped us create a fully functional logistics site. As experts, we followed the necessary procedures, including stakeholder interviews, analytics reviews, and usability edits. With this extensive study, we reached the following conclusions:

  • The users faced various challenges taking action on the website due to confusing navigation.
  • Slow-loading pages were a serious issue that affected the page’s trustworthiness.
  • The website had responsiveness issues that we fixed efficiently.
  • We also added quick access to features and trust signals to facilitate better decision-making.

These valuable research findings helped us redesign the website. It turned out to be a trusted platform for logistics and goods delivery in the USA.
